Woodpecker are barefoot leather sneakers for kids with a wide toe box, zero drop sole and flexible outsole for natural foot development. We designed this model to support healthy movement from the first confident steps to everyday playground adventures, allowing little feet to move freely and naturally — the way they are meant to.
When developing Woodpecker, we focused on balancing flexibility, durability and real everyday practicality. The upper is made from genuine water-repellent leather that protects against light moisture while remaining breathable for comfortable all-day wear. Inside, the semi vegetable-tanned leather lining feels soft against the skin, and the removable 2 mm leather insole makes drying and size adjustment simple.
The 4 mm super flexible rubber outsole was carefully developed to provide excellent ground feedback without compromising protection. Its zero drop construction keeps the foot in a natural position, without artificial arch support or cushioning. The wide toe box gives growing toes the space they need to spread and stabilize — an essential part of strong and healthy foot development.
Because children are active, we added a scratch-resistant toe cover to improve durability during running, climbing and cycling. Two adjustable Velcro straps ensure a secure, customizable fit and allow children to put the shoes on independently.
The bright pink color brings energy and confidence to the classic retro stripe design, making Woodpecker both functional and expressive — a true barefoot sneaker for active girls in the springs and summer season for this year.
