Snipe is our barefoot leather sneaker for kids, created with the same clear philosophy we follow in every Minimus model: natural movement first. With a wide toe box, zero drop sole and flexible outsole, Snipe allows growing feet to move freely, develop strength and build balance without interference.
When we developed Snipe, we focused on creating a clean, versatile everyday sneaker that performs equally well in school corridors and on playgrounds. The upper is made from genuine leather that is both durable and breathable, helping to regulate temperature during active days. Inside, the semi vegetable-tanned leather lining feels soft against the skin, while the removable 2 mm leather insole allows easy drying and practical size adjustment.
The 4 mm flexible rubber outsole provides direct ground feedback while still protecting little feet from sharp surfaces. Its zero drop construction keeps the heel and forefoot on the same level, supporting a natural posture and stable walking pattern. The wide toe box gives toes the space they need to spread, grip and stabilize — which is essential for healthy foot development.
For everyday durability, we reinforced the toe area to better withstand running, braking on balance bikes and constant movement. Two adjustable Velcro straps make the fit secure and easy to customise, while also supporting independence as children learn to put their shoes on themselves.
The Transformative Teal trending colour brings depth and character to Snipe’s minimalist design.
